What to do if the video is not displaying correctly using the Miracast Video Adapter

If your device's content is not mirroring into your TV properly or there is no display at all, it could be due to interference or because the HDCP settings on the adapter are incorrect for your specific smart device.

Follow the instructions below to learn how to display your video correctly:

Step 1:
Move your device closer to the Miracast Video Adapter to see if this alleviates the problem.

Step 2:
Remove sources of Wi-Fi interference like wireless networks and other 2.4 GHz devices.

QUICK TIP:  If your device supports both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz frequencies, consider connecting via the 5.0 GHz frequency.

Step 3:
Disconnect your video adapter from any Wi-Fi networks before turning it ON.

HDCP settings

If you are not seeing any display at all and the solution above did not work, follow the steps below:

Step 1:
Adjust the HDCP settings in the Miracast user interface. For information on how to access the Miracast user interface, click here.

Step 2:
Determine which HDCP version your smart device uses by consulting its manual or contacting the manufacturer.

Step 3:
If your device does not support HDCP, turn HDCP to OFF. By default, HDCP 2.0 is selected.

QUICK TIP:  You can also try setting Enable Non-Compliant HDCP to ON.

NOTE:  Samsung devices will not mirror if the HDCP function is OFF.
