How to factory restore your Wemo Dimmer WDS070

If you are having trouble using your Wemo Smart Dimmer with Thread, WDS070 or wish to move it to a new Apple® Home network, factory restoring will remove all settings and place it back into a factory state.

The reset button is located on the front part of the Wemo Dimmer WDS070 underneath the main control buttons.  Press and hold the button in for 6 seconds until the status LED flashes red and then release.

NOTES: 
 
  • Factory restore will erase all settings and place the Wemo Dimmer WDS070 into a default factory state, ready to be set up again.  It is not the same as rebooting.
  • Factory restore will not remove the Wemo Dimmer WDS070 from the Home app.  To remove it from the Home app, you must do it manually.
