How to Install the Dash Mount Using the Gel Suction Cup

This guide shows how to properly install the BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Charging Car Dash Mount, PSU included (WIC011), using the built-in gel suction cup. Following these steps helps ensure a strong, stable attachment for safe, hands-free use while driving.

Step 1: Adjust the Mount Arm

  • Release the locking lever and bend the extending arm to your preferred viewing angle.
Once positioned, press the locking lever back into place to secure the arm.

Step 2: Clean the Dashboard Surface

  • Wipe down the area of the dashboard where the mount will be placed.

  • Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or oils for best adhesion.

Step 3: Attach the Suction Cup

  • Peel off the protective film from the gel suction cup.

  • Press the suction cup firmly onto the cleaned surface.

  • Allow it to dry for at least 20 minutes before use. For maximum stability, let it set for up to 48 hours.

Step 4: Maintain the Suction Cup

After long periods of use, wipe the suction cup clean if needed to restore adhesion before reattaching it.

Helpful Tips

  • Install the mount on a flat, smooth dashboard surface for best results.

  • Avoid placing the suction cup on textured, curved, or uneven areas.

  • Allowing the full 48hour curing time provides the strongest hold, especially in warm environments.
