The Belkin F7U082 features a single charging coil.
 
2.  How fast will this charge my phone?
 
Using the included Quick Charge
3.0 AC adapter, the Belkin F7U082 will charge Samsung Quick Charge-capable devices from 0 to 85% in just 35 minutes.  Apple devices supporting Apple Quick Charge feature will charge at 7.5 W.  For all other devices the charger provides up to 5 W of charging power. 
 
Overall charging speeds will depend on the following:

 
  • Apps and services running on your device
  • The current level of charge on the battery while charging
  • The battery capacity and the condition of the battery while charging
 
3.  What does the light indicate?
 
The table below describes the indicator light:

Device is misaligned - light will be solid until the device is removed from the pad.
Temperature issue - light will be solid until the device is removed from the pad.  The internal circuitry will reduce power to lower heat.  If unable to lower heat, charging will cease after 10 seconds.
Insufficient power source - light will be solid until the device is removed from the pad.
 
4.  What does Foreign Object Detection mean?
 
When an object or device that is not Qi-compatible is placed on top of the wireless pad, it will detect this and will not charge.  This keeps both your device and charging pad safe.
 
5.  What do I do if there is a charging error?
 
In case of a charging error, please check the following: 
  • That the device is properly aligned on the charging pad.
  • That a Qi-compatible device is placed on the charging pad.
  • That the charging pad and phone are not overheating. 

6.  What should I do if my phone begins to overheat while charging?
 
The charger is designed to slow down charging if the phone starts to warm and will stop charging completely if the phone remains hot.  If you notice that the phone is hot, remove the phone from charging for a few minutes to cool down.  Make sure to turn OFF any power-hungry apps or services that may be causing the phone to work hard and try charging again.
 
7.  How do I clean the charging pad?
 
You can use a standard electrical cleaning spray to clean the Belkin F7U082.
