Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work as I expected I can't use USB-A ports and Audio port. I connected only LG monitor use USB-C and AOC monitor use HDMI and one port USB-A 3.1. Other ports don't work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Audio-in port does not work, or has limitations: Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock has a two-way port for audio-out and audio-in and is supposed to automatically sense whether -out or -in is required. The audio-in does not work or has limitations. For years I connected an external amplifier to the audio-in port of my mac-mini with no problem. When I plug the exact same cable into the Belkin hub, the hub senses something requiring audio-OUT! After extended discussion with a Belkin technician, it was determined that the port was tested for audio-out but never tested for audio-in. I have a theory: the audio-in may only recognize digital in. I had to purchase a Behringer UCA222 $30, which plugs into my amplifier and into the USB-A port of the Hub. That worked. I don't know if the Hub is not detecting any audio-in, or just can't recognize/convert analogue audio-in. If the latter, Belkin should make that known in its promotional material.

Can this be used to connect two apple studio displays? I have an M1 Max MacBook Pro 2021.

Asked by: adam1124
Yes, adam1124. The Belkin INC006 can support up to three simultaneous monitor connections while using the dock. The number that can be used with your laptop depends upon the power of your computer and its graphics card capabilities. Note that not all computers have the graphics capabilities to support multiple monitors and may run into display issues when attempting to use multiple displays.

Hi I just purchased an unit of this. But when i connect two monitors through this dock, only one monitor can be identified, and these two monitors are just mirroring each other insttead of two extended displays. My laptop is Macbook Air M2 2022. Thanks.

Asked by: al jay
Hi al jay. Please know that the Belkin INC006ttSGY has not yet been tested to be compatible with the Macbook Air M2 2022. Although this dock supports dual monitor display, actual display output will vary based upon the host device specifications. Let’s have our support team further isolate this. Can you tell me if the upstream TB4 port supports USB-PD DRP (Dual Role Power)?  That is, if the hub’s power cord is not connected, will the hub negotiate a contract with the host port to source power to the hub?

Asked by: Steve1234
Hi Steve1234. The Belkin INC006 dock does not have this feature. The dock needs to be connected to its power supply for it to work.
