- Accessing the router's web-based setup page using a Mac® computer
Belkin routers and access points have a built-in web-based setup page that allows users to quickly customize various device configurations. The steps below will guide you on how to access the web-based setup page of your router on a Mac® computer.
Before accessing the router's web-based setup page, make sure that the following conditions are met:
- The router is powered ON
- The computer is wired to one (1) of the Ethernet ports (1, 2, 3 or 4) of the router
Launch your computer's web browser such as Safari®.
Enter the router's IP address on the Address bar, then press Return or Enter.
NOTE: Belkin routers are set with 192.168.2.1 as the default IP address.
Enter your router's Name and Password in the prompt and click Log In to continue.
NOTE: By default, to access the web-based setup page of Belkin routers, the Name and Password are left blank.
You should now be able to access your router's web-based setup page on your Mac® computer.
