Pairing the Belkin QODE Ultimate Keyboard Case

IMPORTANT:  Before using your Belkin QODE Keyboard, make sure to disconnect the Bluetooth devices previously connected to it.  Also, if the keyboard layout of your device is different from that of your Hardware Keyboard, you must change the keyboard language to update the output.  Modifying only the iPad or mobile phone language will not change the keyboard output.  For more information on how to change this on your Android™ device, click here.  For more information on how to change this on your iOS device, click here.

The Belkin QODE Ultimate Keyboard Case variants are the following:
  • Belkin F5L151 (for iPad Air®)
  • Belkin F5L178 (for iPad Air® 2)
  • Belkin F5L149 (for iPad® 4th and 3rd generations and iPad® 2)
Before you begin, ensure you have done the following:
  • You have set up your iPad on the Belkin keyboard case.

  • You have charged the Belkin keyboard for approximately 2.5 hours before first use.

NOTE:  The indicator light will be solid orange while charging.  The indicator light will turn OFF when charging is complete.
 
Once ready, follow the instructions below.

NOTE:  In the examples below, the iPad Air 2 was used. 
 
Step 1:  
Position your device on the Belkin keyboard to turn it ON.

QUICK TIP:  Detaching your device from the Belkin keyboard will turn OFF the keyboard.

Step 2:
On your Belkin keyboard, press the Fn and <...> Pair User-added image keys at the same time then hold for 3 seconds.

Step 3:
On your device, go to Settings and tap Bluetooth.

Toggle the Bluetooth button to the ON position.

Step 5:  
Tap Belkin Ultimate Keyboard when it shows under DEVICES, to connect your device.

NOTE:  If the name is not under DEVICES, press and hold the Fn + <...> Pair keys on your Belkin keyboard again.

QUICK TIP:  Your Belkin keyboard could show as different name such as Ultimate Keyboard Case.  If so, tap that instead.

If your device shows that your Belkin Ultimate Keyboard is Not Connected, tap the User-added image icon.  Tap Forget This Device, then OK to confirm.  Repeat Step 4 to pair again.

You should now have connected your Belkin QODE Ultimate Keyboard Case successfully.
