How to control your Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE using the Google Home app

The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0001 allows you to control music playback in multiple ways. This article will walk you through the steps on how to control playback using the Google Home™ app.

Before you begin, you will need the following:

One or more Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE devices or any Google Home-compatible smart speaker
Latest Google Home app installed on your smartphone or tablet
Make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your speaker or connected to the speaker via Bluetooth®

Controlling a speaker using the Google Home app

NOTE: Although the steps are similar, the images may appear differently depending on your phone's operating system.

Step 1:
Open the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet.

Step 2:
On the Home screen, tap the speaker or speaker group that you wish to control.

Step 3:
You will be redirected to the main page for your speaker or speaker group. On this page, you can control different playback functions.

Control	Description
Track Back	A single tap will rewind the currently playing track to the beginning. Two or more taps will return to previously played tracks.
Play/Pause	Tap once to pause the music currently playing on the speaker. Tapping again will cause playback to continue.
Track Forward	Causes playback to skip to the next available track in a tracklist.
Volume	This is the volume slider. It will raise or lower the volume of the speaker. The value of the current volume is indicated in percentage below the Play/Pause button.
30 Second Rewind	Each tap of this button will cause the currently playing music to rewind by 30 seconds until the beginning of the track is reached.
Playback Position	The playback position is displayed on both a slider as well as a percentage value showing how much time is left on the track. The slider allows you to move anywhere in the currently playing track that you wish.
Stop casting	Tapping on this button will end music playback on the speaker.
