This guide explains how to use your iPad’s rear camera without removing it from the Connect USB-C Keyboard Folio with Display Hub. The keyboard case is designed with a sliding mechanism that allows you to expose the camera by simply sliding down the top portion of the case. This ensures you can take photos or scan documents conveniently while keeping your iPad securely docked.
- Start with the iPad in its closed or compact position
Ensure your iPad is securely connected to the keyboard case. This is the default setup when not in use.
- Slide the top portion of the case downward
Gently push down on the top section of the case as shown in the illustration. This action reveals the rear camera.
- Confirm the camera is fully exposed
Once the top cover is slid down, the iPad’s rear camera should be unobstructed and ready for use.
- Use the camera as needed
Open your Camera app and begin capturing photos or scanning documents—all while your iPad remains securely docked in the case.
