How to change the equalizer settings on the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE

The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0001 comes acoustically tuned from the factory to a level that will sound great in most environments.  Using the Google Home™ app, you can change its treble and bass levels to levels that suit your environment or music tastes.  This article will guide you in using the Google Home app to change the equalizer settings of your speaker.

Before you begin, you will need the following:
  • One or more Google Home smart speaker products
  • The latest Google Home app installed on your smartphone or tablet
  • A smartphone or tablet that is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your smart speaker
 
NOTE:  The iOS version of the Google Home app is used in the example below.  While the screenshots may look different from the Android™ version, the steps are still the same.
 
Step 1: 
Open the Google Home app and tap on the speaker you want to change the settings on.

Step 2: 
Tap on the equalizer icon in the top right corner.  It is on the left side of the gear icon.

Step 3: 
On the Equalizer screen, you can change the Bass and Treble settings of your speaker.  Any changes you make will happen in real-time and be saved automatically. 
  • Move the slider to the left to lower the setting.
  • Move the slider to the right to increase the setting.

Once you have the equalizer settings changed, you can use the back arrow to go back to the main page of your home or leave the Google Home app completely.
