Follow the steps below to know how to manually restore your Wemo Switch, Wemo Insight or Wemo Switch + Motion.
Step 2: Hold down the Restore button.
Step 3: While holding the Restore button down, plug your Wemo device into a power outlet and continue to hold the button down for 5 seconds. The Status light will begin to blink orange to signify that it is restoring.
Step 4: Release the Restore button. It should take about 60 to 90 seconds for the Wemo device to restore and reboot. It will blink blue and orange or green and orange when finished.
You should now have successfully done a manual reset on your Wemo device. To reset your device using the Wemo App, click here.
