Belkin Power Center User Guide

Use this guide to connect a Belkin power bank to the Belkin Power Center desktop application, read the main screens, change display settings, review product health, and create a diagnostic report for support.

Note: The software shows one connected Belkin power bank at a time. Screen details can change based on the model, available ports, wireless charging support, and display support.

Example Power screen

Quick start

Connect the power bank by USB-C. Once the device is detected, the Power screen opens and starts showing battery level, input, output, and port activity.

  1. Open the desktop app.
  2. Connect the power bank to the computer using a USB-C cable.
  3. Wait for the Power screen to appear.
  4. Use the left sidebar to switch screens.
  5. Use Settings to adjust the power bank display, or open Support & Diagnostics to save a diagnostic report.

Connection note: Use one power bank at a time when you need a clear reading. If more than one supported Belkin device is connected, the app displays the first one detected until that first device is disconnected.

Startup screen when no device is connected

When no supported device is connected, the app shows the startup screen with the message to connect a device by USB-C.

  1. Connect the power bank to your computer using a USB-C cable.
  2. Keep the app open while the device is being detected.
  3. Once connected, the app changes from the startup screen to the Power screen.

Quick fix: If the startup screen stays on, try a different USB-C cable, try a different USB-C port, then reconnect the power bank.

2. Read the Power screen

Image: image3.png

Power screen with active USB-A, USB-C1, and USB-C2 activity

The Power screen is the main place to check charging activity. The top row shows battery charge, total output, and total input. The port cards below it show what each active port is doing.

ItemHow to read it
Charge RemainingShows the current battery level as a percentage.
OutputShows the total wattage going out from the power bank to connected devices. The small MAX label shows the maximum output limit shown by the app.
InputShows the total wattage going into the power bank while it charges. The small MAX label shows the maximum input limit shown by the app.
Port cardsShow each port, such as A, C1, C2, or W for wireless charging. Active cards are brighter.
WattageShows how much power that port is using at the moment.
Voltage / amperageShows the electrical reading for the active port.
Cable ratingShows the cable rating and PD version when the app can read it.

Read port activity

Each port card uses arrows and numbers to show direction and active wattage. An upward arrow means output from the power bank. A downward arrow means input into the power bank. A wireless card may appear as W on models with wireless charging support.

Reading tip: Values can move while charging. The app refreshes live readings, so a wattage value may rise, fall, or settle while devices negotiate power.

Read the battery and direction icons

Battery level and input/output icon examples

The battery graphic changes by level. Input and output icons animate while power is moving. Passthrough charging uses a separate animation pattern to show charging in both directions.

3. Check Health & Safety

Image: image6.png

Health & Safety screen with System Check Complete

Open Health & Safety to review the power bank condition. This screen gives a quick status check, then shows battery health, cycles, temperature, and battery cell voltage.

ItemWhat it means
Battery HealthShows the battery health percentage.
Charging CyclesShows how many charging cycles have been counted.
TemperatureShows the current battery temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Battery Cell VoltageShows voltage values for each battery cell listed in the app.
System CheckShows whether functions are active and available, or whether the app has found a warning condition.

Health icons

Battery health, charging cycle, taskbar, and temperature icon examples

The Health & Safety icons change based on value. A warning badge can appear in the sidebar when the app detects a safety condition that needs attention.

4. Respond to safety warnings

If a warning appears, read the warning title, description, warning status, and product status. Follow the on-screen instruction before using the power bank again.

Over Current Protection warning example

Warning types shown in the app

WarningCustomer action
Over Current ProtectionThe app says the power bank detected a fault. Reconnect the attached device, try a new cable, or try charging a different device. Product status may show discharging disabled.
Over Temperature ProtectionThe app says the power bank has a high internal temperature. Let it cool down and move it to a cooler location away from direct sunlight.
Under Temperature ProtectionThe app says the power bank has a low internal temperature. Move the power bank to a warmer environment.
Over Voltage ProtectionThe app says an unexpected voltage level was detected. Stop using the product and contact customer support when the product status says all functions are disabled.
Low Voltage WarningThe app says the battery level is very low after storage or self-discharge. Recharge the power bank as soon as possible.
Under Voltage ProtectionThe app says the battery voltage dropped below a critical level and safety protection has disabled the power bank. Stop using the product and contact customer support.

Safety note: A temporary warning may clear after the condition is fixed. A latch-off or permanently disabled status means the customer should stop using the product and contact support.
