The Belkin 14-Port USB-C Docking Station, 65W (Chromebook Certified), INC003 helps increase productivity with its 4K display option.  It allows you to choose between connecting your monitors through DisplayPort™ or HDMI®.  The Belkin INC003 is the first of its kind to have Chromebook™-optimized features which provide the ability to install firmware updates directly through a Chrome OS™ for enhanced connectivity experience.  The Belkin INC003 is also Trade Agreements Act (TAA)-compliant for use in a wide range of government applications.  For more information about this product, click here. 

2.  What is its warranty period?

The Belkin INC003 comes with a 2-year warranty.

3.  Does it come with a Connected Equipment Warranty (CEW)?

No.

4.  Is it FCC-certified?

The Belkin INC003 complies with part 15 of the FCC rules.  Operation of the Belkin INC003 is subject to two conditions:
 

1.  This device may not cause harmful interference.
2.  This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.


5.  What color does it come in?

It comes in black.

6.  What material is the case made of?

The Belkin INC003 is made of polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC-ABS).

7.  Can it be wall mounted?

No.

HARDWARE INFORMATION

1.  Does it have a port for headphones or a microphone?

Yes, it has a 3.5 mm TRRS Stereo audio jack.

2.  What are the recommended storage and operating temperatures for this dock?

The recommended storage temperature is between -30°C to 75°C with relative humidity of 5% to 95% while the recommended operating temperature is between 0°C to 40°C with relative humidity of 10% to 90%.

3.  Can this provide power to charge a laptop?

The dock will provide up to 65W to charge a laptop.

4.  Can this provide power to charge my smartphone or tablet?

Yes, via the front USB-A and USB-C® ports.  Charging speeds will be limited to the power support of each port.

5.  What are its power specifications?

The Belkin INC003 has the following power specifications:

No.

2.  Does it support audio input/output?

Yes.

FUNCTIONALITY

1.  What happens if I plug my computer into the USB-C port?

Nothing.  The USB-C ports are for connecting USB-C devices such as hubs, phones, headphones, etc.
