Locating the Apple HomeKit code using the Wemo app

The Apple® HomeKit® code is provided in the Quick Install Guide and can also be found on the product label on the Wemo® device.  However, the 1st gen Wemo Mini Smart Plug, F7C063 does not have a HomeKit code label on the device.  You must use the Wemo app first to set it up, locate the HomeKit code and then you can connect it to the Apple Home app.  To set up the Wemo Mini using an iOS mobile device, click here

NOTE:  Make sure that you are connected to your home WiFi.  

This article will show you how to locate the HomeKit code of your Wemo Mini on the Wemo app.  In the images below, the device's name has been changed to Kitchen Light.

 
Step 1:  Launch the Wemo User-added image app, enter your credentials, then tap on Log In.
 
Step 2:  Tap on the More tab.

Step 3:  Select Settings & About.

Step 4:  Choose Hardware Info.

Step 5:  Tap on the Wemo Mini.

Step 6:  Write down the code from the HomeKit Setup Code section.
