Setting up Self Healing feature on a Belkin router

Self Healing is a feature that allows your router to switch channels so that you get the best connection possible.  This feature automatically executes maintenance every week as set.  This article will guide you on how to set up the Self- Healing feature on your Belkin router.

QUICK TIP:  Before doing so, make sure you have the admin password of your router.

 
Step 1:
Launch a web browser, and enter your router's IP address.

QUICK TIP:  The default IP address of Belkin routers is 192.168.2.1
 
Step 2:
On the Router Setup page, enter your router's administrator Password.  You will be asked for your log-in details.  Enter your device's password on the Password field then click Submit.

NOTE:  If your device is not yet configured, leave the Password field blank and click Submit.

Step 3:
On the Utilities category, click on Self Healing.

Step 4:
Select the day of the week and time to set the regular maintenance schedule then click on the Apply Changes button.

Your router's Self Healing feature is now set up.
