The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ Immerse Noise Cancelling Earbuds, AUC003 delivers superior and high-quality sound.  With its hybrid active noise cancellation feature, it blocks unwanted noise and allows you to make calls or listen with confidence.  You can also track your charging case securely and privately by using the Apple Find My.


2.  What is the Apple® Find My™?

The Apple Find My is a location platform developed by Apple built into its range of macOS® and iOS devices.  This app allows you to link compatible devices to your Apple iCloud® account.  When the Apple Find My is enabled on a device, it can be located using your macOS or iOS device.  The Apple Find My makes it easy to keep track of your Apple devices even if they are offline.

3.  What is Google® Fast Pair Service?

Google Fast Pair Service (GFPS) utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality to discover nearby Bluetooth accessories that support GFPS.  When a GFPS-enabled accessory is in setup mode near your Android™ device, a pop-up message will appear on the screen asking if you would like to connect.  GFPS can also download any companion apps available for the accessory without having to go through settings or the Google Play™ store.  GFPS is compatible with Android version 6 and higher.

  • Earbuds - The Belkin AUC003 earbuds can be charged by placing them in the charging case.  They can either charge directly from the battery in the case or can be charged while also charging the case.

4.  Does this product have control buttons?

Yes.  The Belkin AUC003 charging case features a button on the back of the case near the USB-C charging port for enabling and disabling the Apple Find My functionality.  The earbuds have touch-sensitive buttons for controlling different playback and call control functionality.

5.  Is there a reset or restore button on the earbuds?

Yes.  The charging case of the Belkin AUC003 features a factory reset button on the back by the USB-C charging port.  This is used to restore the earbuds and case back to factory settings.

The removable silicone wingtips on the earbuds help to keep the Belkin AUC003 earbuds securely placed in your ear.  The wingtips come in three sizes and are easy to remove and replace.

20.  Are the silicone wingtips required to use the Belkin AUC003?

No.  The wingtips are removable but are recommended to help hold the earbuds securely in your ears.

FUNCTIONALITY

1.  Do I need a special app to set up the Belkin AUC003?

To set up the Belkin AUC003, check the following:
 
  • Earbuds:  It can be set up with any Bluetooth audio-compatible device.  An app is not required.
  • Case:  To use the Apple Find My functionality built into the Belkin AUC003 case, you will need to use an iOS or macOS device that has the Find My app.

2.   How many devices can be connected at the same time to the Belkin AUC003?

The earbuds can be connected to and used with up to two devices at a time.

Multipoint is a feature of the Belkin AUC003 earbuds that allow them to be paired with two devices simultaneously and switch between them seamlessly without requiring you to disconnect and reconnect. 

You have paired your Belkin AUC003 with your laptop and your phone.  Currently, you are using your laptop to play audio on your Belkin AUC003 while you work.  When a phone call comes through, your earbuds will automatically switch over to the incoming phone call on your phone and begin playing the ringing tone in your ears.  The audio playback on your laptop will be paused when switching over. 

Multipoint can be toggled ON and OFF using the SOUNDFORM app.  Multipoint will only function if your earbuds are paired with and connected to two devices at the same time.  If your Belkin AUC003 earbuds are only paired with or connected to a single device, you can still toggle the Multipoint feature ON and OFF, but you will see no changes until you connect to a second Bluetooth source. 


3.  Can I use the Belkin AUC003 to control audio playback?

Yes.  Each earbud features a touch-sensitive area that can be used to control audio playback.

4.  Can I use it to control phone calls?

Yes.   Each earbud features a touch-sensitive area that can be used to take and end phone calls.

5.  Does it support Siri®?

Yes.  Siri can be activated on an iOS device by pressing and holding either the right or left earbud for 2 seconds.  Google Assistant, on the other hand, can be activated on an Android device by pressing and holding either the right or left earbud for 2 seconds.

6.  Does it support Google® Assistant?

Yes.  Google Assistant can be activated on an Android device by pressing and holding either the right or left earbud for 2 seconds.

7.  Can the Apple Find My feature be disabled on my Belkin AUC003?

Yes.  There are two ways to do this:
 
1.  Removing the Belkin AUC003 from your Apple Find My.  This removes the earbuds from your account, and it will not show in the Belkin SOUNDFORM app.  You can add it back later.
 
2.  Press the button on the back of the Belkin AUC003 to disable the Apple Find My functionality.  This will not remove it from your Apple Find My.
   
  • Earbuds:  They can be charged from 0 to 100% in as little as 60 minutes.  A 15-minute charge will give up to 2 hours of audio playback.
  • Case:  It can be charged from 0 to 100% in as little as 90 minutes.
  
9.  How to turn OFF the Belkin AUC003 earbuds?

Below are the three ways to turn OFF the Belkin AUC003:
 
  • Place the Belkin AUC003 earbuds back into the charging case. This will keep them safe and charged and turned OFF as soon as the case is closed.
  • The earbuds will also turn OFF after a few minutes of inactivity if not connected to a device.
  • Turn OFF Bluetooth or disconnect your earbuds from the device.
 
10.  Can Multipoint functionality be disabled on the Belkin AUC003?

Using the Belkin SOUNDFORM app, you can enable and disable Multipoint functionality.


11.  How does the Auto Pause feature work with the Belkin AUC003?

It will stop playing when you pull the earbuds out from your ears and start again when you put them back.

12.  Can the Auto Pause functionality be disabled on the Belkin AUC003?

Using the Belkin SOUNDFORM app, you can enable and disable Auto-Pause functionality.


13.  Can the mute reminder be disabled on the Belkin AUC003?

Using the Belkin SOUNDFORM app, you can enable and disable the mute reminder.


14.  How do I locate the firmware version of my Belkin AUC003?

The serial number for your Belkin AUC003 can be found in two places:

16.  Does the Belkin AUC003 support Hear Through Mode?

Yes.  This can be activated using the Belkin SOUNDFORM app or by pressing the Noise Cancellation setting button on the earbuds.

17.  Can the sound settings be customized on the Belkin AUC003?

Using the Belkin SOUNDFORM app, you can customize the Equalizer setting of the Belkin AUC003 to personalize your sound.


18.  Can I change the Equalizer settings directly on the Belkin AUC003 earbuds?

No.  You need to be actively using the Belkin SOUNDFORM app and the audio must be playing during the changing of the Equalizer settings.

19.  How do I perform a factory restore on the Belkin AUC003?

The Belkin AUC003 earbuds, can be factory-restored using the Belkin SOUNDFORM app or by placing in the charging case and performing a factory restore on the charging case.

The charging case can also be factory-restored by holding the button located next to the USB-C charging port for 10 seconds.

Using the Belkin SOUNDFORM app, you can customize the audio playback controls to your preferences.
