You can choose a lower or higher channel to improve your Wi-Fi's performance and reliability. This article will show you how to update the wireless channel of your device through the web interface.
If your router uses the Dashboard interface, click here.
Launch a web browser on a computer connected to your Wi-Fi.
Enter "https://router" or the router's default IP address, "192.168.2.1" in the Address bar and press [Enter]. If it doesn't work, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here.
You will be asked to log in using the router's admin password. If you have not set a custom password, just leave the Password field blank then click Submit.
NOTE: If your router's interface does not look like this, click here.
Under the Wireless section, click Channel and SSID.
Look for the Wireless Channel section and select your preferred wireless channel. Channels 1, 6, or 11 are recommended since they are considered as non-overlapping channels.
