The Media Server by myTwonky® lets your Belkin router stream music, movies and photos from a storage device to any DLNA / UPnP-compatible devices on your network. To use this feature, you will need to insert a USB Storage device with media content into the USB port of your Belkin router.
This article will guide you on how to check the number of media files that are on your external storage device through your Belkin router's Media Server feature.
QUICK TIP: Images may vary depending on your Belkin router's model number. The images used in this article are from a Belkin F9K1102 v3 router.

Step 1:
Launch a web browser on your computer and enter the IP address of your Belkin router in the address bar. Press [ENTER] on your keyboard.
QUICK TIP: The default IP address of your Belkin router is 192.168.2.1. If the default IP address doesn't work, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here.
Step 2:
Enter your router's Password and click Let me in!.
NOTE: If you have not set up a password, you can leave the password field blank and click Let me in! or Submit to some Belkin routers.
Step 3:
Click on the 
option on the Dashboard.
QUICK TIP: If your page looks different, locate Media Features and click Media Server. Media Mover or Video Mover instead.
Step 4:
Click Refresh Index to scan your USB storage device.
Next to the Serving: section of the page, you should now see the number of indexed media files.
NOTE: If you are using another Belkin router model, the page may look similar to the image below.
QUICK TIP: The number of media content that you can view, stream or play through your router will depend on the storage capacity of the USB storage device connected to your Belkin router as well as the media type. The Media Server feature only supports UPnP and DLNA-compatible devices.
