Before doing the steps below, make sure the VIZIO Smart HDTV is not connected to your router or modem via ethernet cable when trying to connect the TV wirelessly.

Press the VIA button on the remote to display the on-screen menu.

Step 2:
Using the right and left arrow buttons on the remote, select HDTV Settings.
Â
Step 3:
Select Network.
Â
Step 4:
You will then see a list of available networks in the vicinity. Select your Wi-Fi name and press OK.
Â
NOTE:Â You can also connect via Wi-Fi Protected Setupâ„¢ (WPS), Manual Setup, and Hidden Network.
Â
Step 5:
Enter your Wi-Fi password or security key when prompted then, select Connect.
Â
QUICK TIP:Â The security key is case sensitive.Â
Â
Step 6:
Once connected, select Test Connection.
You should now have successfully connected the VIZIO Smart HDTV to your Wi-Fi.
