The Belkin F4U092 supports USB Power Delivery (PD) pass-through of up to 60W over the USB-C port.  It requires using the USB-C power adapter provided with your laptop.
 
5.  Can this provide power to charge my smartphone or tablet?
 
The Belkin F4U092 can charge devices from the USB-A ports only and an external USB-C power adapter should be used to avoid disruption with the other ports.
 
6.  Is there an included AC adapter?
 
None.
 
7.  Is the Belkin F4U092 a powered hub?
 
The Belkin F4U092 can operate using the power from the USB-C port on your laptop.  Plugging in a USB-C power supply to the hub will allow it to provide more power to the USB-A ports on the hub.
 
8.  What is the power output of the two USB-A 3.1 ports?
 
The power output of the USB-A ports is shared across both ports.  The maximum output combined is as follows:
  • When using a USB-C power adapter:  3.0A, 5V, 15W
  • When not using a USB-C power adapter:  1.8A, 5V, 7W
9.  What speeds does the ethernet port support?
 
The ethernet supports the following speeds:

NOTE:  The network speeds depend upon the cabling, networking equipment, and network traffic.
 
10.  What SD cards are supported by the SD card reader?
 
The SD card reader supports up to UHS-1 full size SD cards and microSD cards using a microSD to SD adapter.
 
11.  Does the Belkin F4U092 have a battery?
 
No.  The Belkin F4U092 is powered from the USB-C port which can draw 15W from your laptop or by connecting a USB-C power source to the hub.
 
FUNCTIONALITY

1.  How does the USB-C port work on the Belkin F4U092?
 
The USB-C port supports either data or USB PD pass-through charging, but not at the same time.  If you are using the USB-C port to charge your laptop, you will not be able to use it as a data port.
 
2.  Can I charge devices using the USB-C port on the Belkin F4U092?
 
No.  The USB-C port supports only data or power input.  It is strongly recommended to use the USB-A ports on the hub for charging devices.
 
3.  What is the data transfer rate between the Belkin F4U092 and my computer?
 
The maximum data transfer rate is 5 Gbps shared between upstream and downstream data connections.
 
4.  Can the Belkin F4U092 charge my phone/tablet without being connected to a computer?
 
No.
