Updating your Belkin router's administrator password through the Dashboard

This article will show you how to change the administrator password on your router’s Dashboard. 
 
NOTE:  Make sure that your Belkin router is already connected to your computer before performing the steps below.

 
Step 1:
Open a web browser such as Google Chrome™
.
 
Step 2:
Type “http://router” or you can also enter the default IP address, “192.168.2.1” in the Address bar then press [Enter].
 
Step 3:
On your Dashboard homepage, click Advanced Settings.

Step 4:
Under the Utilities section, click System Settings.

Step 5:
Fill in the necessary fields under Administrator Password.

Step 6:
Click User-added image to apply changes.

 
You have now successfully updated your Belkin router's administrator password.
