Setting up the HD Bluetooth Music Receiver on an Android™ smartphone

HD Bluetooth Music Receiveris a device that allows you to listen to music in High Definition (HD) quality via built-in optical or coaxial connections.  This article will guide you on how to set up your HD Bluetooth Music Receiver using your Android™ smartphone.  To learn how, follow the steps below:

Before you begin, make sure you have the following requirements:
  • Belkin HD Bluetooth Music Receiver
  • NFC-enabled smart devices running Android™ 4.0
  • speakers
 
NOTE:  For NFC-enabled smart devices running Android™ 4.1 or later, the music receiver's NFC auto-connect feature is already configured within your smart device, so all you have to do to connect is tap the back of the smartphone to the top of the HD Bluetooth Music Receiver.

Step 1:
Plug the HD Bluetooth Music Receiver into an AC outlet.

Step 2:
Connect the HD Bluetooth Music Receiver to the speaker.
 
NOTE:  You can connect the music receiver on a standard connection or use one with higher definition.
  • Standard audio options: RCA-style right/left connection ( 3.5mm to RCA cable is included)
  • Digital audio options: Coaxial cable (included)

Installing the Belkin BT App

 
Step 1:
On Google Play, download and run the Belkin BT App.

Follow the on-screen instructions and click Open Settings button.

Step 3:
Tap the HD Bluetooth Music Receiver with your Android™ smartphone to play music and click OK.

You should now be able to play audio or music.
