
Button | Description |
Bluetooth | The Bluetooth button controls Bluetooth® functionality of the speaker. Holding down the button for 3 seconds will put the speaker into Bluetooth-pairing mode. No sound is made when Bluetooth is enabled. |
Volume down | Tapping the Volume down button will lower the volume level of the speaker. Volume level is indicated by the status lights on the front of the speaker. |
Play/Pause
| Audio Playback: Tapping the Play/Pause button will start or stop music playback. Phone Calls: Tapping the Play/Pause button will accept/end a call. |
Volume up | Tapping the Volume up button will raise the volume level of the speaker. Volume level is indicated by the status lights on the front of the speaker. |
Microphone ON/OFF | The Microphone ON/OFF button controls the built-in microphones used for Amazon Alexa and phone call functionality. When turning the microphone OFF, the status lights on the front of the speaker will light red. While the microphone is muted, Alexa voice command functionality will not be available. To unmute the microphones, tap the Microphone ON/OFF button again. The red status lights on the front of the unit will turn OFF. |
While the buttons do not make any noise when pressed, the speaker will react with different actions when the buttons are pressed:
- Volume up/down: The front lights will light to show the volume being changed.
- Microphone Mute: The front lights will turn red to indicate the microphones are muted. When unmuted the lights will turn OFF.
- Play/Pause: The audio being played will either start or stop.
