The Wi-Fi® enabled WeMo Light Switch allows you to
turn lights on and off from anywhere--from across the
house, from the backyard, or from the other side of the
world. WeMo Light Switch replaces a standard light
switch in your home and can be controlled remotely
with your smartphone, tablet or even your voice when
paired with your Amazon Echo. It works with your
existing Wi-Fi® network and anywhere your smartphone or
tablet has an Internet connection (3G or 4G LTE).

What can you do with it?

You Make The Rules Wemo allows you to set rules for your Light Switch to follow such as turning on in the evening so you never come home to a dark house again.	Control It Remotely Using the free Wemo App for your iOS and Android Smartphone or Tablet you can turn your Light Switch on from anywhere you can connect to the internet.

Faceplate Support	Comes with a white clip on faceplate but can be used with any rocker style faceplate. It is recommended to not use metal faceplates as they can impede the Wi-Fi signal performance.
Wiring Requirements	Replaces a single pole, single throw switch. Not compatible with 3-way (Multi Location) switches. Requires a neutral (return) wire to be present.
Power Requirements	Supports CLF, Incandescent and LED bulbs. Max 600W Incandescent bulb. Max 1800W, ½ hp @ 120VAC
Network Requirements	Wireless router supporting the 2.4ghz wireless band. A working internet connection for Remote Access and firmware updates. WEP, WPA or WPA2 wireless security. Not supported with open Guest networks. Not supported on café login style networks. Not supported with enterprise style networking equipment.
Smart Device Compatibility	Android smartphone or tablet running Android 4.1 or higher. iPhone or iPad running iOS 9 or higher.
Wemo Placement	The Wemo Light Switch is designed to be used in indoor locations away from moisture which can damage the internal electronics.
