Installing the Belkin USB 3.0 3-Port Hub with Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, B2B128

The Belkin USB 3.0 3-Port Hub with Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, B2B128 is the best accessory for your laptop or ultrabook, whether you’re in the office or traveling.  Follow the steps below on how to install the B2B128 to your laptop or ultrabook.
 
Before proceeding with the process, make sure you have done the following:
  • You have connected the Belkin USB 3.0 3-Port Hub with Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, B2B128 to your laptop or ultrabook.
  • You have downloaded the driver for your computer.  If you have not downloaded it yet, click on the following links below.
NOTE:  Driver installation for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 is not required.

For Windows
 
After successfully downloading the driver, double-click on it and follow the on-screen instructions.
 
NOTE:  The installation process may take several minutes to complete.  Do NOT turn OFF your computer while the installation is still in progress.
 
Once the driver is successfully installed, you can now plug in your Ethernet cable and enjoy the fast connection speed.
 
For Mac OS X®:

 
Step 1:
Click on the driver icon and a virtual disk will appear on the desktop of your Mac® computer. 
 
IMPORTANT:  This virtual disk will be removed after restarting your Mac computer.
 
Step 2:
Click the .pkg file in the virtual disk for the driver setup dialog to appear.  Click Continue to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
 
NOTE:  The installation process may take several minutes to complete.  Your Mac computer may prompt you to Restart to complete the installation process.
 
Once the driver is successfully installed, you can now plug in your Ethernet cable and enjoy the fast connection speed.
