How to restore your Holmes® Smart Humidifier with Wemo®, F7C046

Restoring your Holmes® Smart Humidifier with Wemo®, F7C046 may be required in some situations such as if you change your router settings or if you have a new mobile device and you need to reinstall the Wemo App.  You have to use the Restore button on the Control Panel to restore the Holmes Smart Humidifier to its factory settings. 

The steps below will guide you on how to properly restore the device:

Step 1:  Unplug the unit from the power outlet.

Step 2:  Press and hold the Restore button located on the Control Panel (front panel).

Step 3:  While holding the Restore button, plug the unit back into the power outlet and hold the button for another 10 seconds.  You will see the orange light blink fast.  

Step 4:  Release the Restore button once you see a green light blink.  The indicator light will go into an alternating green and orange blinking light.

You have now restored the Holmes Smart Humidifier.  To use your Holmes Smart Humidifier again, you have to set it up again.  To know how to set it up again, click here.
