Accessing web-based setup page of the Belkin Miracast Video Adapter, F7D7501

The Belkin Miracast Video Adapter, F7D7501 lets you watch everything from your mobile device on your HDTV screen.  You can share pictures that are saved or taken using your smartphone, play games directly on your TV from your smart device, watch videos and browse the Internet on your TV without the need for a smart TV.

The Belkin Miracast Video Adapter's web-based setup page can be accessed using a device that has Wi-Fi Internet connection and should be in Advanced Settings Mode for the web-based setup page to be accessible.  You will know if your Belkin Miracast Video Adapter is in Advanced Settings Mode if the TV screen reads MIRACAST VIDEO ADAPTER / FIRMWARE UPDATE.

To access the video adapter's web-based setup page, follow the steps provided in this article.

Setting to Advanced Settings Mode

 
Step 1:
Turn OFF the Miracast Video Adapter by detaching it from the USB cable.
 
NOTE:  Keep your TV powered ON.  If the video adapter is powered by the TV, just unplug the adapter from the USB cable.
 
Step 2:
Press and hold the Multipurpose button located at the side of the Miracast Video Adapter.  Do not release.

Step 3:
Continue pressing the Multipurpose button then plug the USB cable back.  Continue to press the button until the MIRACAST VIDEO ADAPTER / FIRMWARE UPDATE page appears on your TV screen.

Accessing the web-based setup page
 
Step 1:
Using a laptop or a desktop computer with Wi-Fi connection, look for the Wi-Fi-Video-Receiver network and connect to it.

Step 2:
Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer®.  Enter 192.168.16.1 in the address bar then press [Enter].

NOTE:  Make sure that your router is not using the same Internet Protocol (IP) Address range as the Belkin Miracast dongle as this will cause an IP conflict.  To solve this problem, change the Local Area Network (LAN) IP of your router.  Please see your router manufacturer's user manual for step by step instructions.  To know how to check your Belkin router's IP address, click here.
 
Step 3:
When the Authentication Required prompt appears, enter admin in the User Name and Password fields.

You should now be logged in into the Miracast Video Adapter's web-based setup page.

You can then configure the video adapter using the three (3) options from the setup page:
 
•   System Info - Clicking this section displays all the technical information related to your Miracast Video Adapter.

•   Firmware Upgrade - By clicking Firmware Upgrade, you can update your adapter's firmware version.  For more instructions on how to perform firmware upgrade, click
