Before you begin:
- Make sure that your computer has an active internet connection.

Check the model number and hardware version of your device. You can find the hardware version of your Belkin device through its product label. The version starts with v or ver. If there is no version number following the model number, then you have a version 1 device. Belkin offers more information on this topic.
The Belkin F9K1001 is used in the example below.
4. On the download article, select the hardware version number of your device to see its available downloadable files.
6. Click OK. The file will then be saved on your computer's default downloads location. A progress bar will appear, showing the status of your download. Once the download is complete, you can now proceed with the firmware (or driver) update for your Belkin device.
