Downloading the latest firmware or driver from the Belkin Support site

The latest firmware, driver and setup software for your device can be downloaded from the Belkin Support site. Follow the steps below for details.

Before you begin:
  • Make sure that your computer has an active internet connection.
  • Check the model number and hardware version of your device. You can find the hardware version of your Belkin device through its product label. The version starts with v or ver. If there is no version number following the model number, then you have a version 1 device. Belkin offers more information on this topic.
1. Go to the Belkin Support page. Enter the model number of your device in the Search field and hit [Enter].

2. Select your specified product from the search results list then click Get Support to open its product support page. If there is no product support page, check the DOWNLOADS section and click your product's download article.

The Belkin F9K1001 is used in the example below.

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the product page and click the appropriate link under the DOWNLOADS / FIRMWARE section.

4. On the download article, select the hardware version number of your device to see its available downloadable files.
5. Click the Download link of the software you need.
Downloadable files have different file types.  Follow the instructions provided for every file.

6. Click OK. The file will then be saved on your computer's default downloads location. A progress bar will appear, showing the status of your download. Once the download is complete, you can now proceed with the firmware (or driver) update for your Belkin device.
