2. Which port on my switch is the uplink port?

In a 5-port switch, all of the ports are auto-uplinking so no uplink port is needed.  However, the 8-port switch does have an uplink port (port 1).

3. Can the F1U128-KIT switch be used in the reverse, 2 computers to 4 devices?

No, the F1U128-KIT can only be used for multiple computers to two (2) devices.

NOTE:  The power adapter will be needed for devices requiring higher power draw like external HDD’s, etc.  For standard USB thumb drives, and other low draw devices, the power adapter is not required.
