Issue: No video on the TV or monitorÂ
1. Check power to the receiver (RX)Â

Make sure the RX is plugged into a USB-A port.Â

The USB-A port must provide at least 2.3 W.Â

If video still does not show, try a different USB-A port or a USB power adapter.Â
2. Check the HDMI connectionÂ

Make sure the HDMI cable is firmly plugged into the RX.Â
-
Make sure the other end is firmly plugged into the TV or monitor.Â

On the TV or monitor, select the HDMI input where the RX is connected (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.).Â
3. Check if your device supports video over USB-CÂ

The USB-C port on your laptop, tablet, or phone must support video (DisplayPort Alt Mode).Â

If the USB-C port does not support video, the ConnectAir cannot show an image.Â
4. Try re-pairing the TX and RXÂ

On the RX (receiver): press and hold the reset button for 2 seconds.Â
-
On the TX (transmitter): press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds.Â

Issue: Transmitter will not pair or connectÂ
1. Reset the receiver (RX)Â

Press and hold the reset button on the RX for 10 seconds.Â

This returns the RX to factory settings.Â
2. Reset the transmitter (TX)Â

Press and hold the pairing button on the TX for 5 seconds.Â
3. Try a different USB-C portÂ

Unplug the TX from your device.Â

Plug it into a different USB-C port on the same device, if one is available.Â

Issue: Video is lagging, delayed, or looks blocky / pixelatedÂ
1. Shorten the distance and clear the pathÂ

Keep the TX and RX in the same room.Â

Move large metal objects, thick walls, or cabinets out of the way if possible.Â
2. Change the wireless bandÂ

On the RX, press the reset button once (a quick tap).Â
-
This switches between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.Â
-
Wait a few seconds and check the video again
