Updating the Wemo® NetCam's Firmware


Updating the firmware of your Wemo® NetCam is recommended to further improve your experience with the device.  A firmware update is provided to either fix the issues that the previous firmware version may have or to improve the device’s performance.
 
The steps below cover the following products:
  • Wemo® NetCam Wi-Fi Camera with Night Vision, F7D7601
  • Wemo® NetCam HD Wi-Fi Camera with Night Vision, F7D7602
  • Wemo® NetCam HD+ Wi-Fi Camera with Glass Lens and Night Vision, F7D7606
Select how you want to update the firmware of your NetCam:

Step 1:  Launch a web browser and go to https://netcam.belkin.comLog in to your NetCam Account.

Step 2:  On your dashboard, select your camera.

NOTE:  If you don’t see your camera name, make sure that the switch at the back of the NetCam is flipped down, then refresh the page.

Step 3:  Click Camera Settings.

Step 4:  Under Audio, you will see the Firmware version of your camera.  Click Update Now! and give the NetCam 5-10 minutes to upgrade to the new firmware.
 
NOTE:  The Update Now! button will only appear if your camera needs a firmware update.

Step 1:  Launch the User-added image App on your mobile device.
 
Step 2:  On the Camera Device List, choose the camera you want to use.  A notification will be displayed if there is an available update.

NOTE:  If you only have one NetCam set up on your account, you will be taken to the Live Feed Screen directly.

Step 3:  Tap Firmware Update Available to proceed.

Step 4: Tap Update NetCam FW to continue with the update.

NOTE:  During the update, your camera will be unavailable for viewing.
 
Step 5:  A Firmware Updating popup will then appear.  Tap the close (X) button to exit.

Step 6:  The update status of your NetCam will display.  Wait for the update to finish.

Step 7:  Tap OK to finish the update.

Your NetCam firmware is now up-to-date.
