Downloading and installing Dropbox on your iOS device

Dropbox is a free service which lets you bring your photos, videos, music files, and documents anywhere. Files saved on your Dropbox account can be accessed from your computer and mobile devices, as long as you are connected to the Internet and if you have the login credentials to your Dropbox account.

You can download and install the Dropbox application to your iOS device to access files saved in your Dropbox account. Follow the instructions below to learn how:

NOTE: An iPad® was used an as example for this article.

Step 1:
Connect your iOS device to the wireless network.

Step 2:
Once you are connected to the network, tap App Store.

Step 3:
Enter Dropbox in the search field.

Step 4:
Select Dropbox from the search results and tap FREE to download the application.

Step 5:
Tap INSTALL APP.

The Dropbox application will now begin installing on your iOS device.

Once the Dropbox application is installed on your iOS device, you will be able to view documents and images, and stream media files stored in your Dropbox account.
