How to view and manage the video feed of the Wemo Doorbell

The Wemo Smart Video Doorbell, WDC010 features a high resolution camera and microphone that can be used to stream a live video feed of what your camera sees.  The Wemo Doorbell is compatible with the Apple® HomeKit® Secure Video service which allows your doorbell to record short clips when motion is detected directly to your iCloud® storage account for later viewing and retrieval.

This section will walk you through viewing the live feed, viewing recorded videos, and how to save a recorded video to your local device.

IMPORTANT:  Viewing the video feed on your local network does not require any special hardware other than the Wemo Doorbell, a router and a Home app compatible device.  If you want to view the video feed remotely or take advantage of the HomeKit Secure Video service you will need a Home Hub connected to the same network your Wemo Doorbell is connected to.

Viewing the Live Feed

Step 1:  Open the Apple Home app and locate the tile for your Wemo Doorbell.
