Connecting the USB keyboard to the KVM console port-marked keyboard
Using the remote control
Connecting the USB keyboard to the KVM console port-marked keyboard
Connect the remote control with an integrated keyboard to be shared by the KVM to the console port-marked keyboard. The remote control will operate as the front panel of the SKVM when connected to the proper SKVM model.
Step 2:
Connect the other peripherals to the console. If the remote control is connected to an incorrect SKVM or PC it will function as a standard keyboard and will not function to operate the SKVM’s front panel.
Confirm that all other peripherals and PCs are connected to the SKVM per the SKVM quick installation guide (QIG).

Using the remote control
Ports 1 to 4 are inaccessible when the SKVM FN key is not active, while ports 5 to 8 are accessible when the SKVM FN key is active.
