Titan EcoGuard is made from 97% pre-consumer recycled rPET plastic, certified through the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and verified by Intertek. The recycled plastic components also extend to the Easy Align frame, support tray, top protective film, and protective bags included in the packaging. The screen protector is then reinforced with Belkin's Nano-Titan Technology, a proprietary titanium blend that strengthens the material at a molecular level.

Standard PET screen protectors typically rate between 2H and 3H on the scratch hardness scale. Titan EcoGuard scores 7H on the ASTM D3363 pencil hardness test (rated against 5H low-carbon steel), which puts it well above what most film protectors can handle. It is also up to 200% stronger than traditional glass based on independent third-party force testing, and it survives drops up to 5.9 feet in military-grade drop testing. All of that in a 0.22mm profile that preserves full touch sensitivity.
