2. Triple Extended Displays is the ability to have three external monitors that extends the desktop of the laptop (with lid open). The three external monitors will not display the same screen, meaning not duplicated (mirror-image).
3. Information in this table is valid as of November 2021 and is subject to change. Due to numerous variations of laptops (hardware, software, OS compatibility), not all conditions may apply.
4. Depending on the connection to the monitor, video output on Thunderbolt 4 Type-C connector may require 'Type-C to DisplayPort' or 'Type-C to HDMI adapter' (not included).
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not completely content with this unit. I missed the review stating the source connection on this dock to the master (main computer) desktop is in the front. This makes routing the connection T4 wire very unprofessional. Now for the laptoppers this wouldn't be so bad. I would have chosen a more appropriate dock/hub for my application.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Main connection from the front?? Why? I own this hub, as well as another brand I won't name. While this hub looks significantly sleeker than the other hub, my biggest gripe is the main connection to the computer. The one cable which must *ALWAYS* remain plugged in is located at the front of the dock. Not sure why this was thought to be a good idea, but this requires you to creatively cable manage this main cable around the dock and back behind your desk. The other hub does it right, providing the main connection point at the back of the hub. Thereby leaving the front of the hub for all the things which you might want to connect. I like that the SD card slot is at the front, in addition to a single USB-C 3.1, but I would have preferred a USB-A or two at the front as well. USB-A thumb drives are still a fixture in this digital world, and always having to plug them in the back is annoying. Lastly, the USB-A ports at the back are extremely close together. In some cases, requiring your to unplug other connections in order to plug in a thumb drive (or even additional peripherals with thicker than average connectors).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gets the Job Done Very sleek looking docking station with 2 HDMI cable ports, which was the main reason for the purchase. Performs well and as expected but sometimes the docking station can get warm if left on for hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, not great. On my MacBook, HDMI gives me 120hz in 4k using one monitor which is nice, no flickering no issues. But I would add more, USB PD ports, both front and back with higher wattage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed. I have several peripherals hooked up and I’ve been pretty happy so far with it. The thunderbolt dock is charging my Mac, I have my external HDMI monitor hooked up, two external hard drives, a microphone, and an external HD can. I haven’t tried to transfer images yet via an SD card, in part, because my max already has a reader. I do notice a flicker in my monitor once in a while, but I would need to trouble shoot to see if it is indeed due to the dock. I like the sleek design.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Caldigit is better. The Caldigit TB4 dock is a much better product for roughly the same price. This is because it has more throughput (USB-A and Ethernet) and more connections (TB4).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Must have for the at home worker. First thing I can say is that I am extremely pleased with this dock! I have been looking at similar items but they didn't have all the options I desired. I have been loving this with Mac and Windows systems, for business and pleasure. Some features worked easily with my MacBook, the external SD card slot has allowed me to put all of my pics on my laptop. I have been using it for work to run 2 4k screens, it can support a triple screen but I don't have much use for that feature. I have found it friendlier to use with my windows computer than my Mac. Of course it can be used as a charging dock for all your devices as well. The quality of the device itself is awesome. Not too heavy in the event you'd need to travel with it. Sleek and modern looking. The power cord is a huge 3-prong brick though, I was very surprised by that and that's really the big negative that I can mention about this device. This thunderbolt dock can be incredibly helpful depending on your needs.

Hi, does this device support connecting one HDMI on a PC and one thunderbolt mac and switching between them simultaneously? My screen only has one HDMI and I need to connect two laptops.

Hi I just purchased an unit of this. But when i connect two monitors through this dock, only one monitor can be identified, and these two monitors are just mirroring each other insttead of two extended displays. My laptop is Macbook Air M2 2022. Thanks.

Asked by: al jay
Hi al jay. Please know that the Belkin INC006ttSGY has not yet been tested to be compatible with the Macbook Air M2 2022. Although this dock supports dual monitor display, actual display output will vary based upon the host device specifications. Let’s have our support team further isolate this. can you explain to me, how I can run 3 apple studio displays over Tb4 when there are only 2 ports on the back, and the monitor dosn't support passthrough. I've been trying to find a hub that supports 3 monitors however all I found was 2 monitor support

Asked by: MacBook pro tripple setup
Hi! The Belkin INC006 can support up to three simultaneous monitor connections while using the dock. However, the number that can be used with your laptop depends upon the power of your computer and its graphics card capabilities. Can you tell me if the upstream TB4 port supports USB-PD DRP (Dual Role Power)?  That is, if the hub’s power cord is not connected, will the hub negotiate a contract with the host port to source power to the hub?

Asked by: Steve1234
Hi Steve1234. The Belkin INC006 dock does not have this feature. The dock needs to be connected to its power supply for it to work.
