Rated 2 out of 5 by from No apple watch charging It charges my 12.9 iPad, but not Apple watches (SE purchased in June 2024). Serves as a great port for data and attached computer devices but I bought it to travel and charge all the devices and it doesn’t work for that.

Can this be used to connect two apple studio displays? I have an M1 Max MacBook Pro 2021.

Asked by: adam1124
Yes, adam1124. The Belkin INC006 can support up to three simultaneous monitor connections while using the dock. The number that can be used with your laptop depends upon the power of your computer and its graphics card capabilities. Note that not all computers have the graphics capabilities to support multiple monitors and may run into display issues when attempting to use multiple displays.

Although this dock supports dual monitor display, actual display output will vary based upon the host device specifications. Let’s have our support team further isolate this. Can you tell me if the upstream TB4 port supports USB-PD DRP (Dual Role Power)?  That is, if the hub’s power cord is not connected, will the hub negotiate a contract with the host port to source power to the hub?

Asked by: Steve1234
Hi Steve1234. The Belkin INC006 dock does not have this feature. The dock needs to be connected to its power supply for it to work.
