How to add and remove a scene in the Apple Home app for your Wemo® Bridge and Wemo Mini

Scenes let you control accessories simultaneously with a single tap.  For instance, you can create a scene called "Arrive home" that turns on all of the lights and unlocks the front door when you arrive.  When a scene is no longer relevant to your preferences, you may delete it from your Apple Home app.  To know how, follow the instructions below.
 
NOTE:  These steps are applicable for the Wemo Bridge and the Wemo Mini.

Adding a scene in the Apple Home app

Step 1:  In the Apple Home app, tap the Home or Rooms tab at the bottom part of the app.

Step 2:  Tap the plus icon beside the Edit button found on the upper right hand corner of the app.

Step 3:  Select Add Scene.

 
Step 4:  In the New Scene screen, select a scene.

NOTE:  You can also select Custom and create a customized scene name.

Step 5:  Tap Add Accessories or Add or Remove Accessories.  Then select the Wemo devices you want to add to the scene.
 
NOTE:  By default, your scene is added to your Favorites which will appear on the Home tab.

Step 6:  Tap Done.

Step 7:  Tap Done again to save the new scene.  You may preview the scene first by tapping Test This Scene.

You have successfully added a scene.

Turning the scene ON or OFF
 
To turn ON or OFF a certain scene, tap the scene or ask Siri®. To do the latter, call Siri’s attention and give commands like: 
 
            Siri, turn off “Scene name”
            Siri, turn on “Scene name”
 
NOTE:  In order to activate a scene remotely, you need to create a home hub.  For more information, visit the Apple support site.
 

Deleting a scene in the Apple Home app
 

Step 1:  In the Apple Home app, tap the Home tab or Rooms tab at the bottom part of the app.

Step 2:  Long press the scene you want to remove.

Step 3:  Tap Details.


Step 4:  Tap Delete Scene.

Step 5:  Tap Delete Scene to confirm the action.
 
You have now successfully deleted a scene.
