Getting to know the Belkin AC1900 Wi-Fi Dual-Band AC+ Gigabit Router, F9K1124

The Belkin AC1900 Wi-Fi Dual-Band AC+ Gigabit Router, F9K1124 supports the latest Wireless-AC technology which is faster than the current existing wireless standards.  It supports data rates up to 600 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz and 1.3 Gbps on 5 GHz wireless band.

A) Wide Area Network (WAN) port - connect your modem to this port using an Ethernet cable.   
B) Local Area Network (LAN) ports - connect computers and other wired network devices to these four (4) ports using Ethernet cables.
 
C) Universal Serial Bus (USB) port - USB devices plugged into the USB 3.0 port will be shared on your network.  The following Light Emitting Diode (LED) behavior indicates its status:
  • OFF - There are NO USB devices connected or the attached USB device is NOT in use.
  • Blinking - This means you have to wait before unplugging any USB device connected to the router until the light turns OFF.
  • ON - The USB device is connected and being shared on your network.
D) Reset button - This button is used to restore the router to factory default settings. 

E) Power connector - Connect the included power supply to this port.

A. Router Status Light
  • OFF – Router is not plugged into a power source.
  • Blinking Blue – Router is starting up.
  • Solid Blue – Router is connected to the Internet.
  • Blinking Amber – Router can’t detect the modem.  Either the modem is OFF, not plugged to the router or is unresponsive.

B. Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) Light
  • OFF – Idle
  • Blinking Blue – Router is listening for a WPS-enabled computer or other device.
  • Solid Blue – Router has made a secure connection with the computer or other device.
  • Amber – A connection was not created.

C. Universal Serial Bus (USB) Port
  • OFF – There are NO USB devices connected or the attached USB device is NOT in use.
  • Blinking – This means you have to wait before unplugging any USB device connected to the router until the light turns OFF.
  • ON ­– The USB device is connected and being shared on your network.
