The LG Nexus 4 will connect to the Miracast Video Adapter on the 2.4 GHz frequency if it is also connected to a router or access point on the 2.4 GHz frequency. Because of this, you might experience a slight delay when trying to mirror videos. To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
Tap the Applications icon.
Tap Settings.
Set Wi-Fi to ON.
Step 4:
Tap the More icon.
Step 5:
Tap Advanced.
Step 6:
Tap Wi-Fi frequency band.
Step 7:
Select 5 GHz only.
This will connect your phone to the adapter via the 5 GHz frequency and should resolve any latency issues with streaming videos.
