The wireless network name (SSID) and Password is important especially if you are trying to connect to a wireless network. This information can be accessed through the web-based setup page of your Belkin router.
Before proceeding, make sure that your computer is connected to your Belkin router. Then, follow the steps below to learn how to check the wireless settings of your Belkin router.

Step 1:
Launch a web browser like Internet Explorer.
Step 2:
In the Address bar, enter your router's IP address then press [Enter].
NOTE: The Belkin router's default IP address is 192.168.2.1. If it doesn't work, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here. If you are having problems accessing 192.168.2.1 or the router's web-based setup page, click here.

QUICK TIP: You may also enter "http://router" in the Address bar to access the router's web-based setup page.
You will then be directed to the router's web-based setup page similar to the one below. If you want to change or configure any settings, you will need to log in with your router's administrator password by clicking on Login at the top right corner of the page.

Step 3:
Enter your router's Password then click Submit.

Step 4:
Click Channel and SSID under Wireless.

Your router's wireless network name is in the SSID field.

Step 5:
Click Security under Wireless.
Click Security under Wireless.

Step 6:
Uncheck Obscure PSK to display the password in the Pre-shared Key (PSK) field.

NOTE: If the password is already displayed, you may skip this step.

The wireless password will then be displayed.

You have now successfully checked the wireless settings of your Belkin router.
