Meet the Belkin Stage app

The Belkin Stage™ app combines the convenience of a document camera with the power of an interactive whiteboard. Use your iPad® to sketch over live video of objects, student work, and other projects real-time. With options like storing labels and WiFi to a projector via AirPlay®, the Belkin Stage app makes lessons fully interactive, collaborative, and engaging. This is available in the App Store®.

The Belkin Stage app was extensively tested on all generations of iPad and iPad mini® running iOS version 5.0 and above. This app has two versions:

1. Belkin Stage app - a free app with in-app purchase components
2. Belkin Stage Pro app - a premium app with all in-app purchase components unlocked

Different Functions in the Integrated Toolbar

Recording function – You can record (screen capture) all videos and interactions.

Undo and

Redo – These functions allow you to go back and forth more than one action to erase or retain the last change you made.

Snapshot – Takes screenshots and captures live video.

Canvas / Page selection – You can select from different canvasses available such as Live Camera, Photo Library, Whiteboard, and Blackboard.

Clear All – Erases everything in the surface area or canvas.

Multiple Canvasses (in-app purchase) – You can utilize this premium feature of the Belkin Stage™ Pro app version to increase the surface area. It allows you to scroll 20 pages to the right or flip through the pages left or right. As you flip each page, backgrounds and interactions (drawing, labels) move away or back.

Laser Pointer – This lets you point anywhere in the canvas. When you have already selected a background image in the canvas, you can also tap the

icon to rotate and zoom in or out the image and then make it immovable by tapping the

icon.

Color – This lets you choose any colors you want in the drawing.

Pen – This is a drawing function that lets you overlay text on live video.

Eraser – This is used for your drawing corrections.

Shapes (in-app purchase) – One of the premium features of the Belkin Stage™ Pro app that enables you to select the following geometric shapes (circle, square, triangle, and star) on the active screen. Shapes can be positioned, deleted, resized, and recolored to black or white.
