Google Home allows you to quickly control your Wemo® devices just by using your voice. Grouping your Wemo devices is recommended for easier control. Follow the steps below if you want to:

With Google Home you can group your home automation devices into Rooms. These can be the physical locations where they are or if you want to create custom rooms that group devices how you want.
Grouping your Wemo devices is done using the Google Home App so you won’t need the Wemo App unless you want to change a Wemo device's name.
Step 1: Open your Google Home App and tap on the menu button on the upper left hand corner to bring up the Google Assistant menu.
Step 2: Then, tap on Home control to bring up the Home Control Menu.
Step 3: Tap on ROOMS to enter the Rooms list and then the plus (+) sign on the lower right hand corner to create a new room.
Step 4: You will receive a list of default Room names. If you scroll to the bottom, you will see an option to provide a CUSTOM ROOM name.
Step 5: Choose the Wemo devices that you would like in this Room and then give the Room a name. When you are ready, tap DONE on the upper right hand corner to save the Room and begin controlling your Wemo devices.
Step 1: Open your Google Home App and tap on the menu button on the upper left hand corner to bring up the Google Assistant menu.
Step 2: Tap on Home control to bring up the Home control Menu.
Step 3: Choose the Room you wish to edit or delete from the list of available Rooms.
Step 4: Edit or Delete your Room. When finished, tap DONE to save settings.
QUICK TIP: Once on the Edit Room page, you can edit or delete a group.

- To change the name, simply tap on the Room name and enter the new name.
- To remove a Wemo from this Room, tap on MOVE next to the Wemo you want to remove.
- To Add new Wemo devices to this Room, tap on the checkbox next to the Wemo you want to add.
- To delete a room, tap on the Trash Can icon at the top of the page.
