Downloading the latest firmware or driver from the Belkin Support site

The latest firmware, driver and setup software for your device can be downloaded from the Belkin Support site.  Follow the steps below for details.

Before you begin:
  • Make sure that your computer has an active internet connection.
  • Check the model number and hardware version of your device.  You can find the hardware version of your Belkin device through its product label.  The version starts with v or ver.  If there is no version number following the model number, then you have a version 1 device.  For more information, click here.
 
Step 1: 
Go to the Belkin Support site.  Enter the model number of your device in the Search field and hit [Enter].

NOTE:  The Belkin F5D9230-4 is used in the example below.

Step 2:
Click the device image to view its product page.

Step 3:
On the page that opens, click on the Downloads / Firmware > button.

Step 4:
Select the hardware version number of your device to see its available downloadable files.

Step 5:
Click the Download link of the software you need.

NOTE:  Downloadable files have different file types.  Follow the instructions provided for every file (see example below).

Step 6:
Click OK.  The file will then be saved on your computer's default downloads location.

NOTE:  A progress bar will appear, showing the status of your download.  Once the download is complete, you can now proceed with the firmware (or driver) update for your Belkin device.
