How to delete a speaker group from the Google Home app

Google Home™ app allows you to combine multiple speakers together into groups to enhance the functionality of the devices.  This article will guide you in deleting a speaker group from your Google Home app.

NOTE:  Deleting a speaker group from your Google Home app does not remove any of the devices in the group from your Google Home app.  To remove a smart speaker from a group with the Google Home app, click here.

Before you begin, you will need the following:
  • One or more Google Home smart speaker products
  • The latest Google Home app installed on your smartphone or tablet
  • A smartphone or tablet that is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your smart speaker
  • A speaker group created in the Google Home app

NOTE:  The screenshots below use the iOS version of the Google Home app.  While the screenshots may look different from the Android™ version, the steps are still the same.
