Charging errors on the Belkin WIZ010

For safety, the Belkin BOOST↑CHARGE™ PRO 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand with MagSafe, WIZ010 will stop charging if it detects a non-compatible device or misaligned device on the base of the charging pad.  When this happens, the status light will illuminate orange until the object is realigned or moved.
 

The reasons for the charger to signify a charging error are:
 

• Placing a metal object on the base pad
• Overheating device while charging
