To manually reboot the Wemo WiFi Smart Plug, simply unplug the unit from power source. Wait for 5 seconds and then plug it back in.
To manually reset the Wemo WiFi Smart Plug to factory defaults, unplug the Wemo® device. Hold down the power button and plug it back in. Keep holding the power button for 5 seconds while the Wemo device is booting up.

NOTE: Although the steps are similar, the images may appear differently depending on your phone's operating system. In the examples below, an Android™ device is used.
Step 1: Open the Wemo App and log in to your Wemo Account. To know how to login, click here.
Step 2: Tap on Edit located at the top-left corner of the Devices list. If you are using an iOS device, it is located at the top-right corner.
Step 3: Select the Wemo WiFi Smart Plug you wish to reset.
Step 4: On the Edit screen, tap Reset Options.
Step 5: Choose which settings you want to reset.
- Clear Personalized Info - This will remove any custom names, stored rules or any data stored on the Wemo WiFi Smart Plug. This is not a complete restore and the device will still retain the SSID and Password for your Wi-Fi.
- Change Wi-Fi - This will remove the stored SSID and Password from your Wemo WiFi Smart Plug. The Wemo WiFi Smart Plug will reboot after this and go back into setup mode. This is useful when changing routers, SSIDs or Passwords but it will not remove any custom names, rules or data.
- Factory Restore - This will completely restore the Wemo WiFi Smart Plug as well as remove it from the Wemo Remote Cloud Server, the Devices list, and any rules associated with it.
