The Belkin CONNECT™ Digital Multiport to HDMI® AV Adapter, B2B169 can simplify conference rooms with a simple plug and play multiple-input solution that lets you connect a device with HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, or USB-C™ video to the conference room display or projector to an HDMI input.  You can connect one device at a time.  If you connect multiple devices, the first one connected to it will be prioritized.

2.  What is the warranty of this product?

The Belkin B2B169 has a 2-year limited warranty.

The product works with displays that support HDMI inputs.  This includes monitors, televisions, and projectors.

FUNCTIONALITY

1.  What should I do if the Belkin B2B169 is not displaying any video?

Make sure to check the following if the Belkin B2B169 is not displaying any video:

• If you are not receiving any video when using the Belkin B2B169, ensure that it is hooked correctly between your computer and display. 
• You can also reset the product.  On the HDMI output end of the Belkin B2B129 is a reset button.  Press and hold this button for 5 seconds and then release. 

2.  Do I have to power the Belkin B2B169 to use it?

Yes.  This is necessary for the video conversion circuitry in the Belkin B2B169 to function.

3.  Can data travel between the USB ports on the Belkin B2B169?

No.  The USB-C connection is for video only and the USB-A connection is for power only.

4.  Does the Belkin B2B169 require any drivers?

No.  The Belkin B2B169 is a plug and play device.  No software or drivers are necessary.

5.  Does the Belkin B2B169 downconvert/upconvert video signals?

No.  The adapter only allows you to connect two devices with different input/output connectors together.  All video resolution scaling is handled by the device supplying the video.    

6.  Can this product be connected to multiple inputs at the same time?

No.  The Belkin B2B169 only allows a single input to be used at a time.

7.  Can I turn the product around and use the HDMI as an input and output to a USB-C or Mini DisplayPort display/projector?

No.  The Belkin B2B169 only allows video to travel in one direction.  The USB-C and Mini DisplayPort connectors are for input only.
