Tip 1: Confirm your router / modem is turned ON and connected.

Tip 4: On your Mac® computer, click System Preferences and open Network. In the Network settings, confirm that you have the USB 10/100/1000 LAN option on the list of available networks.

- If it is not on the list of options, click the plus (+) symbol and select from the drop down the USB 10/100/1000 LAN port to add the network manually.
- If the USB 10/100/1000 LAN port is available to select but there is no IP address detected, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and / or your router manufacturer for assistance on setting up your IP address.
- If the USB 10/100/1000 LAN port is available to select and there is an IP address detected but you are unable to use the internet with the ethernet network, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Disconnect the dock from the MacBook®.
Disconnect the dock from the MacBook®.
Step 2:
Shut down the MacBook.
Shut down the MacBook.
Step 3:
Disconnect the peripherals from the dock and then disconnect its power supply.
Disconnect the peripherals from the dock and then disconnect its power supply.
Step 4:
Reconnect the power supply to the dock and reconnect the peripherals to the dock.

Step 5:
Reconnect the USB-C™ cable from the dock to the MacBook then turn the MacBook back ON.
