Reboot
If your Wemo Mini becomes unresponsive to the Wemo app or to manual controls, it is possible that it has crashed and will need a reboot. Rebooting your device is as easy as unplugging it and plugging it back in.
Step 2: Wait for 5 seconds.
Step 3: Plug the Wemo Mini back into the power outlet.
Reset
A reset removes customizations from your Wemo Mini. This can be done manually on the device when needing to change WiFi settings or using the Wemo app when you want to remove more.

Choose Clear Personalized Info to remove any custom names, stored rules, and custom icons. This is useful when troubleshooting rule issues.

Choose Change Wi-Fi if you are preparing to change your WiFi name and password or do a full restore of your router.
You can perform a manual reset in cases when your Wemo Mini can no longer connect to your network after you changed your WiFi name or WiFi password.
Step 2: Continue to hold the power button down until the Status Light begins to rapidly flash white.
Step 3: Release the power button to WiFi reset the Wemo Mini.
The Wemo Mini will erase its stored WiFi settings and return to setup mode. You will need to run through the setup procedure again to connect it back to your WiFi. Any name, rules or icons will remain on the device. Click here for instructions on how to set up your Wemo Mini.
Restore
A restore removes all custom settings from a Wemo device and returns it to a factory default state. This can be done using the Wemo app or on the Wemo Mini device itself.

Step 2: While pressing the power button, plug in the Wemo Mini to the power outlet.
Step 3: Release the power button when you see the status light turn to a rapid white light.
